ffdshow video decoder configuration
ffdshow is an open source DirectShow and VfW codec for decoding/encoding many video and audio formats, including DivX and XviD movies using libavcodec, XviD and other open source libraries with a rich set of postprocessing filters. ffdshow has the ability to manipulate audio by adding special effects to the music such as an equalizer, a Dolby decoder, Winamp plugins, and much more.
ffdshow can be used in a home theater PC for enhancing media attributes such as the resolution and sharpness of DVD-Video. This requires a compatible media player such as Zoom Player or TheaterTek.
